A leading aerospace company in Donauwörth is seeking a System Engineer for Self Protection System development. The ideal candidate will manage the integration of complex Electronic Warfare Systems into military helicopters. Responsibilities include drafting requirement specs, conducting reviews, and coordinating with suppliers. In order to manage current and future projects, Airbus Helicopters is looking for you to join the team in Donauwörth as soon as possible as our new System Engineer (d/f/m) in Self Protection System.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours (30) and an adapted scope of tasks.
The need for military helicopters is increasing in the current geopolitical context. Military customers are demanding more and more performance from the active self‑protection system. On the other hand, technologies are evolving fast with the introduction of the artificial intelligence. Mastering the Electronic Warfare System is key for the military business, and in this context your mission will be to manage the development and the integration of new and complex Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) into militarized helicopters to ensure the protection of the aircraft and the crew.
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on‑site test airfield.
