Overview

Job Title: Electrician
Department: Base Operations

Responsibilities

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduits, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including circuit overloads, short circuits, and ground faults.
• Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and correct potential hazards or code violations.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute projects accurately.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work adheres to company policies, safety protocols, and local, state, and national electrical codes, including the NEC.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or vocational training is highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a journeyman electrician or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Proficient in using a variety of electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Licensure: A valid state electrician's license is required.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights on ladders and lifts, and navigate confined spaces.

Special Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government\'s background investigation.
