A well-known Japanese B2C manufacturer is looking for an E-commerce Lead to join their Krefeld Office. The E-commerce Lead will be responsible for driving E-commerce (company’s own online shop and Amazon) sales activities including developing and implementing strategies, enhancing customer experiences, and achieving ambitious targets within the entire European market.

E-commerce Lead Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall e-commerce sales strategy for both the online store and Amazon.
- Manage daily E-commerce operations, including product listings, pricing, campaigns, and stock coordination.
- Oversee inventory levels and stock movement to ensure product availability and minimize overstock or shortages.
- Optimise product content, images, and descriptions to enhance conversion and search visibility.
- Plan and implement promotional activities, digital marketing campaigns, and seasonal sales initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current on E-commerce trends, platform developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Oversee and strengthen the brand’s online presence in Europe.
- Supervise and guide an E-commerce sales team, leading strategic planning, target setting, and performance reviews.
- Manage customer promotions, leveraging feedback to refine the sales and E-commerce experience.
- Analyse consumer behaviour and market trends to develop actionable sales and marketing strategies.
- Supervise customer service processes for E-commerce orders to ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses.
- Resolve escalated customer issues related to orders, returns, or product inquiries.
- Use customer feedback and analytics to improve service quality and enhance the overall online shopping experience.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and after-sales support.
E-commerce Lead Ideal Candidate
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce and/or sales roles, preferably within the sports industry, or consumer goods industry.
- Fluency in both German (business-level) and English is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of E-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and German market dynamics.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools, CRM systems, and market analysis.
