Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrative Associate to support the Transcon department in daily freight operations. You will handle data entry, track and trace shipments, and ensure compliance with SOPs and government regulations. Collaboration with service providers and internal teams is essential.

The role requires strong numerical ability, excellent communication, and willingness to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced environment.

• Ensure proper and timely movement of domestic freight and information.
• Provide exceptional customer service within the Transcon department.
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operating system.
• Track and trace Transcon files as required.
• Use Workflows on a daily basis.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Maintain strong relationships with service providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, OPS and government regulations.
• Understand department process flow and identify areas for improved efficiency.
• Ensure customers' SOPs are followed and updated.
• Meet KPI standards.
• Report to the Supervisor and Manager.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, Operational Process Standards (OPS), external government regulations, and customer policies/requirements


• Understand department process flow and identify areas for improved efficiency


• Ensure customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated


• Meet KPI standards according to company procedures


• Work Monday-Friday, 10AM-7PM


• Report to the Supervisor and Manager

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent required


• Successful candidates must pass a background check


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States


• Must not require future sponsorship for employment visa


• Fluent in English, both written and verbal


• Must have the ability to work overtime in support of the department’s needs


• Must be able to commute to the city of Hawthorne, CA


• Comfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skills


• Associates or Undergraduate Degree Preferred


• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and familiarity with PowerPoint)


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize throughout the workday while remaining focused and organized


• Demonstrated ability to be proactive in thought and action


• Analytical with a strong attention to detail


• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven ability to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results


• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment


• Willing to pitch in and help on last minute projects or assist team members


• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills


• Has a demonstrated strong work ethic, and reliability


• Willingness to work overtime as needed
