A leading camping tourism company in Berlin seeks an experienced leader to manage growth and strategy for its campsite booking platforms. The role involves directing teams, optimizing media revenues, and establishing strategic B2B partnerships. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of relevant experience in sales and business development, and be fluent in both German and English. As being part of the four-member management team you will direct the growth engine behind our international campsite booking platforms. Your mission: scale bookable supply, optimize media advertising revenue, unlock new revenue streams, and build lasting partnerships with Europe’s leading campsites and travel stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the CEO you will lead three teams with around 30 experts across sales, connectivity, and campsite content – creating a data-driven, high-performance culture that drives measurable results.
Strategy & Growth: Define and implement the strategy for the Supply unit, translating it into measurable OKRs for revenue, partner satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Be accountable for the entire revenue area in P&L.
Online Bookability: Develop and execute sourcing and partnership strategies across campsites, chains, and suppliers to maximize bookable supply, optimize margins, and ensure a competitive edge.
Media & Advertising Sales: Expand and professionalize our media revenue streams in close collaboration with external sales agencies, balancing advertising growth with our online booking model.
Business Development & New Revenue: Identify and launch new B2B business opportunities and partnerships that strengthen our marketplace and create additional revenue drivers.
Leadership & Team Development: Lead three teams (Sales & Account Management, Connectivity/API Integrations, Campsite Content), inspire, coach, and develop them for autonomy, ownership, and collaboration across functions, and build a high-performance culture focused on data, results, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Tech, BI, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment across the organization.
Experience: 10+ years in Sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development roles at OTAs, online marketplaces, or high-growth e-commerce companies.
Leadership: 5+ years in leadership, managing multi-team units, building culture, and driving organizational transformation.
Industry Network: Well connected in travel or camping, able to unlock senior-level partnerships and negotiations.
Cross-Functional Skills: Comfortable collaborating across Product, Marketing, Tech, Content, BI, and Finance.
Languages: Fluent in German and English; Dutch is a plus.
