BRLO GmbH in Berlin is seeking a Deputy Service Manager (m/f/d) to help lead our service team at BRLO Charlottenburg and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will support personnel management, train staff on service standards and systems, and help optimize rosters and workflows. The role requires resilience in a fast-paced restaurant environment and fluency in German and English to communicate with an international team and guests.

Responsibilities

• Support in personnel management and staff development
• Organize and improve service processes with the service manager
• Assist in creating duty rosters and monitoring hours in Gastromatic
• Take on day and night manager activities as needed
• Manage monthly inventories and regular service tasks in Flowtify
• Participate in weekly Jour Fixe and team meetings

Hi, we are BRLO

We are currently looking for a Deputy Service Manager (m/f/d) for our locationBRLOCharlottenburg, who will help to lead our service team, ensure that everything runs smoothly and also enjoys an after-work beer with us.

Your Tasks

• Support in the personnel management of the service team
  • Selection and development of employees in consultation with the service management
  • Training employees (service, up-sell, Gastronovi till system, gastromatic time recording system, flowtify task tracking)
  • Instruction of employees in the area of work safety
• Operational organisation and improvement of the service process in the restaurant together with the service manager
• support increating duty rosters for the service team
• Control of working hours in gastromatic
• Taking over day and night manager activities
• 3 Monthly inventory in the service area
• Monitoring regular tasks of the service team in Flowtify
• Participation in weekly Jour Fixe
• Monthly Merchandise Inventory

Your Profile

• Previous service experiencein a similar position in restaurant, initial management experience desirable
• Ability to motivate, develop and lead a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff and other departments
• Passion for excellent customer service and the ability to create a positive customer experience
• Organisational skills to coordinate service operations efficiently
• Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Fluency in German and English to communicate with an international audience and team
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
