Aufgaben

• Lead daily site activities, ensuring tasks are completed in line with policies.
• Manage day-to-day site resources, reviewing capacity versus workload.
• Ensure all operational activities are completed on time with accurate documentation.
• Execute planned and corrective maintenance activities to high quality standards.
• Participate in complex maintenance works, upgrades, and incident management processes.
• Monitor building infrastructure systems and improve alarm effectiveness.
• Support health, safety, and security requirements.

Kenntnisse

Strong hands-on experience in data center or mission-critical environments

Extensive understanding of data center infrastructure

Basic knowledge of ITIL service management principles

Strong understanding of operational processes within a data center

Fluent in English & German

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site activities, ensuring tasks are completed in line with policies, standards, and operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call and escalation rotas to ensure 24/7 operational coverage.
• Manage day-to-day site resources, reviewing capacity versus workload and escalating operational risks where required.
• Ensure all data center operational activities are completed on time with accurate logging and documentation.
• Execute planned and corrective maintenance activities and infrastructure projects to high quality and safety standards.
• Participate in complex maintenance works, infrastructure upgrades, and change and incident management processes.
• Monitor building infrastructure systems (power, cooling, fire, alarms) and proactively improve alarm and monitoring effectiveness.
• Actively support health, safety, and security requirements, including emergency response and evacuations.

Skills / Must have

• Strong hands-on experience in data center or mission-critical environments.
• Extensive understanding of data center infrastructure including UPS, batteries, generators, HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, and fire/life safety systems.
• Basic knowledge of ITIL service management principles.
• Strong understanding of operational processes within a data center environment.
• English & German
