Your tasks and responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the security aspects of the Airbus Products through their entire lifecycle.
  2. Provide end-to-end support to projects regarding cyber security.
  3. Contribute proactively to the business solutions’ architecture and design to manage and reduce security risks.
  4. Conduct security risk assessments on Airbus Products (including threat and vulnerability assessments).
  5. Lead the definition of security requirements and security concepts to mitigate risks.
  6. Design secure architecture for Training Simulation Solutions in accordance with security requirements.
  7. Decompose high-level security designs into detailed security designs for subsystems or components.
  8. Ensure security compliance of products according to national and international security regulations and applicable criteria and methodologies.
  9. Lead Security Risk Assessment and Threat Modeling Processes for projects.
  10. Verify and validate secure system and network designs.
  11. Develop and adapt product and sub-product configurations for security and hardening in line with security requirements.
  12. Act as the product security focal point within your domain.
  13. Drive the development and deployment of Security Operating Procedures to ensure continuous product security throughout their lifecycle.
  14. Support the Bid Team with technical solutions, security solutions, and effort estimation.
  15. Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective delivery of technical solutions.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Several years of experience in system simulation, system security engineering, and defining security requirements and controls for complex products.
  • Good knowledge of Security Standards and Frameworks (e.g., ISO27000 family, CIS, NIST, ...).
  • Strong expertise in Secure Architecture Principles (e.g., Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, Least Privilege).
  • Knowledge of Risk Assessment frameworks.
  • Understanding of verification and validation procedures for secure architecture.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English; German and Spanish are advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work in a multicultural team and independently in a structured manner.
