For our German Headquarter in Wuppertal / Germany we are looking for a motivated Customs Specialist joining a supportive team!

Your role

• Preparation of customs declarations import and export.
• Reviewing customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers.
• Communication with internal business units, suppliers, forwarders, consignees and warehouse keepers.
• Prepare all customs-related documents and support internal and external audits.
• Providing customs advice and support to the business units and group companies.
• Communication with customs authorities.

Your background

• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent or industrial clerk with professional experience, preferably in customs or supply chain management, and / or a degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with customs procedures, the Union Customs Code (UCC), and other EU regulations.
• Experience with special economic procedures, private international law (PIL), and international private international law (IPR).
• Sound knowledge of Dakosy GE, MS Office, and SAP R / 3 & GTS (Global Trade System).
• Analytical thinking and quick comprehension.
• Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to concentrate.
• Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Very good written and spoken German skills and good English skills.
