A leading technology firm is seeking a skilled Customer Production Support Engineer to join their Central/North Europe field service team. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and delivering training. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant industry and strong problem-solving skills. Tostrengthenour Central/North Europe field service team we need you, a skilled and motivated Customer Production Support or Senior Field Service Engineer who shares our passion, determination and commitment to customer success.

The location is remote/hybrid – candidates from Munich Metropolitan area preferred.
Provide hardware & software technical support to customers and internal peers.
Install new test systems, upgrades, options and software components.
Troubleshoot and repair systems at customer sites and Teradyne facilities.
Deliver remote support for troubleshooting and repair.
Drive customer escalations, manage internal processes and handle critical situations professionally.
Troubleshoot handler/prober interface & communication issues.
Deliver Service & Maintenance trainings as Instructor.
Participate in cost reduction and productivity improvement programs.
Document problem-solutions, "lessons learned" and contribute to documentation improvements.
Travel frequently in Central/North Europe on short notice, occasionally globally.
3+ years of working experience in semiconductor production environment or similar industry.
Education in Electronics/Mechatronics (apprenticeship/associate; bachelor welcome).
Strong computer, Microsoft Windows and Office 365 know‑how, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerBI, Teams and SharePoint.
Solid and structured problem‑solving skills. Experience in professional problem‑solving methods is a plus.
Self‑driven, eager to learn with a commitment to continuous improvement & knowledge‑sharing.
Initiative and accountability in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Fluent English (written & spoken); basic German recommended with willingness to improve.
Valid driver’s license.
