Corporate Officer – Private Equity Firm, Work Life Balance

We are currently supporting a Private Equity investment firm operating in various diverse sectors. Though the firm also has offices abroad, where they also keep a small size, the Luxembourg office is currently looking for a Corporate Officer for its team of less than 10 people.

The offices are located just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. They were fully renovated and offer a very pleasant working environment, as they are spacious and bright. A very comfortable terrace is also available to employees, perfect for enjoying the summer sun or reading in the shade, depending on your preferences and the weather of course.

As mentioned earlier, the firm has offices throughout Europe. If you wish, you will even have the opportunity to travel throughout the year, bringing variety and dynamism to your daily routine.

Responsibilities
  • You handle the day-to-day corporate governance of the vehicles which are primarily Soparfi.
  • You for example organize and draft the minutes of board and shareholder meetings, but also simple documentation such as loan agreements.
  • You maintain the shareholder registers up to date, and take on the necessary RCS filings.
  • You work in close collaboration with experienced legal counsels abroad.
  • You will take on directorship mandates for the entities, as do you colleagues and of course the necessary insurances are in place to make you feel comfortable.
Profile and Career Path
  • We are seeking a candidate who has acquired at least 3 years of experience as Corporate Officer / Corporate Secretary in a service provider or inhouse in Luxembourg.
  • Fluency in English is a must, whereas other languages such as French, Italian or Spanish are a plus.
  • If you have obtained a Bachelor’s degree, that is an additional plus too.
  • Most important, you are well organized and eager to learn, meaning that you learn from the constructive criticism or trainings that are given by your superiors.
  • You have acquired experience with SOPARFI and Special Purpose Vehicles.
  • You will benefit from an attractive salary (in line with your experience and competencies) that can reach 70.000€ per year, as well as meal vouchers.
  • By working in-house here, you will have practically no overtime, meaning you will have an excellent work/life balance. There will also be given the possibility to work from home, 1 day per week, if you so wish.
  • You will get to work in beautiful offices ideally located near the Luxembourg Train Station, allowing you to take public transportation to work if you so wish without any hassle or lost time on the road in traffic.
  • You will have regular interaction with the senior legal counsels abroad who are more than happy to share their skills with you, so you can acquire new knowledge and grow in your autonomy within this Private Equity investment firm.
