Job Role – Freelance Construction Manager

Industry – Solar and PV Project

Duration – 12 months +

Location – Cottbus, Germany

Rate – Per/Day €900 DOE

Type of Role – Freelance

Languages – English proficiency is required, and German would be a bonus.

G2 have partnered with a turnkey/EPC business that focus on the renewable energy market, specifically looking after Solar and Photovoltaic parks.

Our client are working on a new project which you will be involved in from site preparation all the way through to commissioning and end handover to their customer.

You will be involved in project planning and co-ordination; site management of day to day activities construction and making sure deadlines are met alongside making sure quality checks are done against technical specs and standards.

Skills/Requirements to be considered:

• Must speak English fluently and some level of German would be helpful.
• Must have the ability to work as a Freelancer in the EU without any sponsorship.
• Be happy to be on site in Germany for the duration of this project, with some possible rotational work.
• You must have a strong knowledge of renewable energy construction projects, specifically in PV/Solar.
• Understanding of construction, permitting and regulations involved.
• Experience in supervising sub-contractors, site teams and any safety needs for all staff working on site.
