Commercial Business Partner (f / m / d) – Digital & Process Excellence

Overview

As our new Commercial Business Partner (f / m / d) in Cost Center Controlling, you will combine strong financial understanding with a digital mindset and a passion for structure. You will ensure transparency across budgets, forecasts, and reports, while continuously improving how we work with data and processes. You will be a key enabler in turning complex, unstructured information into clear insights and structured workflows that drive better decisions across the organization. You will collaborate closely with management and colleagues across global functions, acting as both a reliable finance partner and a catalyst for digital transformation within Offshore Service.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Drive financial transparency by preparing, analyzing, and explaining budgets, forecasts, and actuals for Offshore Service functions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to management, supporting decisions with clear financial insights and structured reporting.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to bring structure and clarity into existing workflows.
  • Support and advance digitalization initiatives using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Alteryx to automate and enhance reporting.
  • Maintain and improve SAP-based controlling processes, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy standards.
  • Strengthen Master Data Governance (e.g., Cost Centers, WBS, Orders, GL Accounts) and enable consistent, data-driven forecasting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to harmonize processes and ensure best-practice standards within Cost Center Controlling.
What You Bring
  • A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting (or comparable field).
  • Several years of experience in Controlling or Commercial Finance, ideally in an international environment.
  • A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to bring order and clarity into complex or evolving processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (essential) and strong Excel skills.
  • Affinity for digitalization and data visualization; experience with Power BI, Power Query, or Alteryx is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented and proactive attitude.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); German or Danish is an advantage.
