Job summary

J&T Express Germany GmbH in Großbeeren (near Berlin) is seeking a Center Operations Specialist to coordinate daily warehouse and sorting center operations on-site, including night shifts. You will collaborate with the Warehouse/Operations Manager and shift teams to ensure smooth parcel handling and data accuracy.

The role focuses on monitoring KPIs, coordinating workforce planning during peak periods, and driving continuous process improvements in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational qualification in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive, reliable, and hands-on working style with willingness to support operational teams.
• Fluent German and English are mandatory; Mandarin Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for operational reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate daily warehouse and sorting center operations, ensuring smooth inbound, outbound, and parcel sorting processes.
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs, including productivity, throughput, processing performance, and overall operational efficiency.
• Assist with workforce planning, shift coordination, and task allocation, particularly during peak periods and fluctuating parcel volumes.
• Identify and resolve operational disruptions, bottlenecks, and unexpected challenges, coordinating appropriate solutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Warehouse/Operations Manager to support daily operational management and effective team coordination.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, warehouse standards, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners, maintaining accurate operational data, reports, and documentation.
• Drive continuous process improvements and take a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting warehouse teams whenever required.

Join J&T Express as a Center Operations Specialist and play an important role in coordinating our daily warehouse and sorting center operations. Working closely with the Warehouse/Operations Manager, shift teams, and internal and external partners, you will ensure efficient parcel handling, monitor operational performance, and contribute to continuous process improvements. The position is based in Großbeeren (near Berlin) and is 100% on-site, including shift and night work.

Your Profile

• Degree, vocational qualification, or relevant professional experience in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a comparable field
• Previous professional experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proactive, reliable, and hands-on working style, with a willingness to support operational teams directly
• Good communication and coordination skills; previous experience coordinating warehouse teams or daily operational activities is an advantage
• Fluent German and English are mandatory; Mandarin Chinese language skills are an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for operational reporting and documentation
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night shifts; a valid driving licence and access to a car are considered advantages
