J&T Express is a leading international logistics and express delivery company with a rapidly expanding global network. As we continue to grow our operations in Germany, we are looking for a motivated and hands‑on Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Nieder‑Olm.

In this role, you will be directly involved in daily warehouse and logistics operations, combining practical operational activities with coordination, monitoring, and administrative responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

Warehouse & Daily Operations

• Actively support daily warehouse operations, including parcel handling, sorting, scanning, and processing.
• Monitor inbound and outbound parcel flows to ensure efficient and timely operations.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.
• Ensure parcels are processed, sorted, and dispatched according to operational procedures.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, including incorrect sorting, missing parcels, scanning errors, and processing delays.
• Support warehouse staff and shift supervisors in maintaining smooth daily operations.
• Ensure that operational areas are organized, safe, and compliant with company standards.

Operational Coordination & Monitoring

• Monitor daily warehouse performance and operational workflows.
• Coordinate with sorting teams, transportation partners, and other operational departments.
• Track parcel movements and support the resolution of delivery or processing exceptions.
• Assist with workforce coordination and task allocation during operational shifts.
• Support the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• React quickly to unexpected operational challenges and help develop practical solutions.

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Monitor operational KPIs, including parcel processing volumes, sorting accuracy, productivity, and processing times.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to warehouse processes.
• Support quality control activities and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Assist with implementing new workflows and process improvements.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, parcel sorting, distribution centers, or transportation is preferred.
• Willingness to actively participate in physical warehouse activities.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and daily operational workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and a hands‑on, solution‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and operational systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good German and English communication skills are required, both written and spoken.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to manage changing operational priorities.
