J&T Express Germany GmbH is seeking a Network Planning Specialist to support the development and optimization of our transportation and logistics network in Germany. You will plan routes, analyze capacity, and work with DSPs to ensure reliable delivery performance.

The role focuses on identifying bottlenecks, coordinating with hubs and DSP partners, and driving continuous improvement across the network to support rapid growth in Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or business administration.
• Initial experience in logistics, transportation, network planning or last-mile operations.
• Experience with DSPs, subcontractors, or last-mile delivery providers.
• Experience in parcel delivery, express logistics or transportation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• English and German language skills are desirable.

As part of our continued growth in Germany, we are looking for a motivated and analytical Network Planning Specialist (m/f/d) to support the development and optimization of our transportation and logistics network.

Your Responsibilities

As a Network Planning Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring an efficient, reliable and scalable logistics network.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, analyze and optimize transportation routes and network structures
• Support daily and long-term network planning activities
• Analyze shipment volumes, capacity requirements and operational performance
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and opportunities for network optimization
• Coordinate transportation capacity between hubs, sorting centers and delivery stations
• Support the planning of linehaul, regional transportation and last-mile delivery flows
• Coordinate and collaborate with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to ensure sufficient delivery capacity and stable operational performance
• Support DSP capacity planning based on forecasted shipment volumes and regional demand
• Monitor DSP performance, delivery quality, capacity utilization and operational KPIs
• Identify capacity gaps within the DSP network and support the onboarding or allocation of additional delivery partners where required
• Work closely with DSPs and internal operations teams to resolve operational issues and improve delivery performance
• Support the development and optimization of the DSP network in existing and new regions
• Monitor network KPIs and prepare regular performance reports
• Work closely with Operations, Transportation, Sorting Centers, Delivery Stations and Regional Management
• Support peak season and volume forecasting, including capacity and contingency planning
• Evaluate operational data and develop recommendations to improve cost efficiency and service quality
• Support the implementation of new routes, locations and network structures
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation processes
• Assist with continuous improvement projects across the logistics and delivery network

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration or a comparable field
• Initial professional experience in logistics, transportation, network planning, last-mile operations or supply chain is preferred
• Experience working with DSPs, subcontractors, transportation partners or last-mile delivery providers is a strong advantage
• Experience within parcel delivery, express logistics, e-commerce or transportation is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of transportation, network and last-mile delivery processes
• Confident working with data, KPIs and operational reports
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, hands‑on and solution‑oriented working style
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing and dynamic environment
• Very good English skills
• German language skills are highly desirable
• Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin Chinese, are an advantage but not mandatory
