How you will make an impact

We are seeking a highly skilled communicative and structured Business Process Consultant to oversee and continuously improveMMS DC METROs globalsolution tosupportbusiness-critical warehouse operationsin six Metro countries including goods management in distribution centers and the goods flow betweenlogisticsservice providers (LSPs) warehouses and stores.This solution is developed and supported by our external service provider.

Asa BusinessProcessConsultant youwillbridgebusiness and technology : the rolecombines service ownership incident management stakeholder communication and continuous improvement ofsupply chainprocesses.You will workclosely with METRO AG local country teamsexternaldevelopment partners andother team membersto guarantee stable services transparent governance and a seamless supply chainexperience.

In the current lifecycle situation for MMS DC which is planned to be replaced mid-term your job will also include todesign and plan the move from MMS DC to future solutions which are still in concept stage and support the business process switch including technical understanding of the underlying solutions and supportingthis movefrom business and technical perspective.

At the same time the solution is currently still being rolled out toadditionalcountries replacing locally developed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage day-to-day operations ofMMSDC ensuring stability data quality and alignment with METROssupply chainframework.
• Act assecond-line escalation point for incidents and service requests.
• Analyze incidentsmonitorSLAs and apply corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage backlog items define and refine requirements and collaborate with theexternaldevelopment partner to ensuretimelydelivery of fixes and enhancements.
• Maintain service documentation workflows and integration diagrams ensuring knowledge transfer across teams.
• Prepare and presentOKRs KPIs and service health reportsto theSupply Chain management bodies.
• Promote transparency and collaboration across domains such asmaster data or store operations.
• Support the implementation ofMMS DCin new METRO countries.
• Act as a go-between for business and IT.
• Drive strategic thinking and change management at METRO.
• Support strategic decision-making processes.
• Supportpossible replacementof parts of MMS DC and transfer towards newly developed solutions in the supply chain area.

Qualifications

Required key competencies and qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science or a related field or5-10 years ofexperience in a similar role
• 5years of experience with supply chain processes especiallyin the area ofwarehouse operations
• Knowledge of SQL language : performing queries ability to understand basic SQL code
• Curious self-motivated willingness to learn and enthusiastic
• Analytical thinking andproblem-solvingskills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across business and technical teams
• Proactive result oriented team-player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to respect deadlines and prioritize a busy workload
• Experience with steering of development teams preferably with externalproviders
• Very goodfluency in English (written and verbal)
• Familiarity withincidentand change management tools(e.g. JIRA ServiceNow).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience withOracle databases and / or Oracle Forms / Reports
• Previousexperience with country solutionroll-outs
• Previousexperience withIT solution switches and process adoptions for implementation of new IT solutions
