What is the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Government DACH. The ideal candidate must have a background in the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and will work directly with the German Armed Forces to understand their space infrastructure needs. This role is crucial in leading the strategy for German Defense opportunities and will be an integral part of our German sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the German Armed Forces to identify and understand their space infrastructure requirements
• Develop and implement strategic plans to address the needs of the German Defense sector
• Lead the strategy for German Defense opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the German Armed Forces and other relevant entities
• Provide expert insights and recommendations to the sales team based on the unique needs and challenges of the German Defense sector
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the defense industry
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with the German Armed Forces

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working directly or indirectly within the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) is mandatory
• Strong understanding of the space infrastructure needs and challenges faced by the German Defense sector
• Excellent strategic planning and leadership skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in German and English is required.
