Your future job

As the Business Development Manager for the DACH region at Unilin Panels, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client portfolio in decorative business. This is a business development role focused on increasing market share through proactive engagement and long‑term partnerships, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom industry.

Reporting to the Sales Manager Decorative Panels, your key responsibilities include :

  • Developing profitable sales of melamine boards and high‑pressure laminate (HPL) by identifying and building strong, lasting relationships with new customers.
  • Promoting our innovative decorative surface solutions and collections, with a focus on added‑value products that differentiate us in the market.
  • Translating company‑wide sales objectives into a clearly defined objectives tailored to the DACH region to ensure commercial success and market expansion.
  • Achieving ambitious targets in terms of turnover, volume, and profit margins.
  • Organizing regular visits to customers and prospects to actively promote our decorative range and strengthen brand presence.
  • Participating in trade fairs and exhibitions to enhance visibility and generate new leads.
  • Collaborating closely with the specification team to secure and manage new projects across the region.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities through direct customer interactions and leveraging this insight to identify and act on new commercial opportunities.
  • Working cross‑functionally with departments such as supply chain, product development, and marketing to position Unilin Panels as the preferred supplier in the region.
YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate (m / f / d) with :

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or a related field.
  • At least five years of B2B sales experience in sectors such as flooring, interior products, paper printing, or furniture.
  • A proven track record in business development and / or account management.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building new collaborations and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A strong affinity with interior design.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a home office setup.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and SAP (a plus).
  • Fluency in German and English.
