Overview

As a Brand Trainer Team Lead (m / w / d) you’ll manage, engage and develop the team of Brand Trainers in the North East region (Germany, Austria). Plan and optimize BT activity in your region following company priorities on a seasonal basis. Lead Brand Trainer seasonal meetings to equip the BT Team for each season go-to-market. Attend alignment meetings to share best practices and discuss ideas with colleagues from other areas to develop BT activities across Europe. You will be the main point of contact for requests from Categories and Commercial leads in your country/area. Reporting to the Head of Marketing (North East).

Responsibilities
  • Support the team of Brand Trainers (BT) in fulfilling the activity plan agreed with Categories and Commercial teams in your country/area.
  • Coordinate, engage and develop the BT team, including accompanying BT during activities to provide feedback and help improve performance.
  • Performance review & goals setting: two performance reviews per year to discuss competencies development and actual performance versus goals (aligned with Head of Brand Training needs).
  • Support the creation of training tools and other resources to best equip the BT team.
  • Review geographic coverage across your country/area to efficiently support priorities to win at wholesale and at our own Retail sales staff.
  • Report on agreed KPIs, dashboards and summaries including market insights (consumers, competitors, retailers, own staff).
  • Prepare seasonal meetings to update and equip the BT Team.
  • Have regular catch-ups with the Head of Brand Training and with the BT team to close follow-up on activities and maintain permanent tracking.
  • Stay up to date in all knowledge required to support and exceptionally cover BT Team activities.

What we’re looking for
  • Track record in a retail or marketing/sales environment i.e. similar position in a different field, or experience from other parts of retail.
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree or degree from higher vocational education.
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Driving licence (B) and willingness to travel.
  • Confident presentation and communication abilities.
  • Engagement to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Living in the Cologne/Düsseldorf area (the office in Neuss should be reachable on a daily basis).
