BioPharmaSpec is a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in the analytical and physicochemical characterization of biopharmaceuticals. Our scientists support global biopharma and biotech clients in the discovery and preclinical development of biologics, including monoclonal antibodies, peptides, peptoids, glycoproteins, oligonucleotides, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).

Following significant investment and expansion across Europe, our commercial team is growing. We are seeking motivated Business Development Executives or Business Development Managers (m/f/d) to join our team in Freiburg to identify new opportunities, establish client contacts, and support our mission to provide world-class analytical services to the biopharmaceutical industry.

Your Main Tasks
  • Proactively explore new business opportunities through identification, research, and outreach to potential clients in assigned markets
  • Initiate contact through various channels to present tailored solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers such as scientists and project managers
  • Support in preparing offers, quotes, and client presentations
  • Maintain and update the Salesforce database to track leads and sales activities
  • Attend conferences and industry events within the assigned region
  • Participate in marketing and lead generation strategies including digital follow-up
  • Collaborate with scientists to translate technical capabilities into client-focused solutions

Your Profile
  • Degree (BSc or higher) in relevant fields such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Chemistry
  • Ability to proactively establish and maintain contacts, ideally in a scientific environment
  • Confident in customer acquisition and network building in new markets
  • Self-motivated and resilient with a positive attitude towards learning and growth
  • Experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, particularly in a CRO environment, is advantageous
  • Knowledge of CRM systems or sales tools (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German and/or another European language is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel – up to 25%
