Position: BP Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m)

The BP Filtration Sales Specialist supports all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. They provide support to Account Managers with expert product knowledge, training, and support, while working to generate sales from new and existing customers. The role involves evaluating customer processes to identify solutions and providing the necessary tools, information, and support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities.

This position reports to the BP Zone Filtration Lead and is part of the Account / Direct Sales department based in Germany. The role is remote, covering the North/East region, including Berlin, Leipzig, Wolfsburg, Dresden, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team.
  • Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and related single-use system designs within the assigned region; support the full portfolio by providing product expertise and proactively identifying new opportunities.
  • Develop sales of modality solutions in the assigned region, establishing long-lasting technical customer relationships.
  • Create a sales funnel to meet business targets, managing leads and prospects using CRM software.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in life sciences or a related field.
  • Several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology industry.
  • In-depth expertise in filtration hardware and related consumables.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-selling, upselling, and value positioning, with effective funnel management.
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel 40-60% within the territory, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
