At HALO Bagels, we are dedicated to redefining the bagel experience in Berlin with our artisanal sourdough bagels. We strongly believe that our passion for food and hospitality will create joyful moments that bring people together — what we call FULL CIRCLE MOMENTS.

We are seeking a new team member to join our diverse and international team on our journey to becoming a beloved food brand in Berlin.

Tasks

1. You're responsible for the daily production of all our sourdough bagel breads, including hand shaping, proofing, bathing, and baking.
2. You're responsible for maintaining and carrying out cleaning tasks in the BOH, complying with operational hygiene measures and legal regulations.
3. You're actively managing food inventory following FIFO/FEFO principles, including storage control and weekly order planning.
4. You support other team members in producing all bagel toppings by turning raw, quality ingredients into our in-house developed recipes (including meat and fish preparation).

Requirements

1. You have experience in baking and a strong desire to excel in your daily work (experience in a kitchen is a plus but not mandatory).
2. You are able to switch easily between baked goods production and food preparation, with strong organizational skills.
3. You naturally possess a strong team spirit, excellent communication skills, and get energized by working with people.
4. You are passionate about food & hospitality and feel fully connected with the HALO brand and our products to deliver top quality every day.
5. You are open to working flexible hours during weekdays and weekends and have experience working in fast-paced environments.
6. You are fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
