Our Employer Value Proposition – Driven by Impact. United as One. – reflects our belief in achieving sustainable results through collaboration, integrity, and long-term partnerships.

We value diversity and actively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, perspectives, and identities.

You bring first experience in Private Equity – ideally in fund selection, co-investments, or transaction-focused roles in M&A or Investment Banking with strong modelling exposure? You’re eager to deep-dive into LBO models, market mapping, and fund due diligence processes? Then join our growing Buyout team at Golding Capital Partners and help shape high-quality portfolios across Europe and North America.

Role is based in Munich, with flexible home office policy.

This includes:
  • Evaluating fund and co-investment opportunities through initial screenings.
  • Active participation in fund due diligence processes, including onsite meetings.
  • Supporting co-investment analyses, including scenario modelling as well as key metric sensitivity analyses.
  • Managing internal investment processes and preparing investment committee materials for both fund and co-investment processes.
  • Engaging with buyout GPs, maintaining market maps (by regions and sectors), and update internal databases and pipelines.
  • Monitoring responsibility for part of the portfolio that includes attending AGMs across Europe and North America, holding periodic update calls with GPs, preparing quarterly write-ups as well as developing bi-annual cashflow forecasts.
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and investor engagements.
Your qualification
  • You hold a completed Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • First hands‑on experience in Private Equity, Co-Investments, or Investment Banking – through internships, analyst programs, or full-time roles.
  • Proven financial modelling skills, especially LBO modelling – ideally from real-world deals or deal simulations.
  • Strong interest in fund & co-investment strategies – and the curiosity to stay ahead of market developments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
Your personality
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a tight-knit, results-driven environment.
  • Passion for analysing industries, exploring new business models and challenging assumptions.
  • Structured, and detail-oriented approach to execute projects and tasks.
  • Clear and professional communication style with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with support from senior members.
  • Highly motivated, reliable, and results-driven.
  • Competitive compensation with a performance-based component.
  • Favourable home office model and a modern office in Munich.
  • Individualized professional development and a comprehensive onboarding program.
  • Team events, community initiatives, and a collaborative workplace culture.
  • Corporate benefits (e.g. Gympass, meal discounts, job bike, pension scheme and more).
