We are currently looking for Analysts and Associates to join a globally leading investment bank in their Financial Restructuring department. The position provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of financial advisory and investment banking services. Typical areas of involvement include:

  • Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court restructuring transactions
  • Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of clients
  • Advisory in relation to debt and equity raising in the context of stressed and distressed situations
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, analyse and help explain historical and projected financial data
  • Create financial models
  • Coordinate and perform business due diligence
  • Assisting in drafting confidential information memoranda, management presentations, pitch materials, and other client-facing documents
  • Preparing valuation analyses to support negotiations and discussions with stakeholders
  • Supporting the organisation and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Building and maintaining direct relationships with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors
Competences
  • An excellent academic record with a degree in finance, economics, or accounting
  • A demonstrated interest in financial restructuring and / or complex, large-scale transactions
  • Previous internship experience in investment banking, a boutique advisory, private equity, or credit fund
  • Solid understanding of valuation techniques, theory, and application
  • Advanced quantitative, financial, and analytical abilities
  • Strong LBO and DCF modelling skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional commitment and work ethic
