To strengthen our DevOps & container expertise, we are actively recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on large‑scale, strategic container platform initiatives. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the implementation, standardization, and operation of container‑based platforms within large‑scale IT environments.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Supporting the implementation and evolution of DevOps processes for large software development programs, including Kubernetes‑based toolsets (e.g. OpsKit).
• Designing and defining concepts for unified technology products and container technology usage.
• Defining software and operational criteria for Kubernetes‑based container orchestration platforms.
• Creating operational and governance concepts for container technologies.
• Standardizing infrastructure components and technology products related to container platforms across multiple environments.
• Developing strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to container technology implementation.
• Preparing professional reports, technical documentation, and presentations for steering committees and decision bodies.
• Actively participating in workshops, technical meetings, and coordination sessions (mostly via web conferences).

Qualifications (Must‑Have)

• Degree in IT or a comparable qualification (Foreign degrees must be officially recognized in Germany)
• More than 3 years of experience with Git‑based DevOps workflows, including Helm
• Strong expertise in modern container environments, including OpenShift and CNCF projects
• 10+ years of total professional experience within a large corporation or large public administration
• 5+ years of experience working in organizations with more than 10,000 users
• 5+ years of experience in IT migration projects from classic server operations / VMs to cloud and container platforms
• 3+ years of experience with hybrid Kubernetes platforms (e.g. OpenShift or equivalent)
• Native German speaker or German level C2
