Overview

A Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting an Accounting & Finance Director to work in their office in Amsterdam.

Accounting & Finance Director Main Responsibilities :

• Lead corporate strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize liabilities
• Manage international tax matters
• Drive business planning with financial insights
• Oversee
• Enhance controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency
• Liaise with Big Four audit firms for annual audits
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve financial issues
• Mentor and manage the accounting and finance team
• Provide training and set performance goals
• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Develop policies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance

Accounting & Finance Director Ideal Candidate :

• Experience in leading an administrative department
• Tax compliance, tax strategy, international taxes experience
• Corporate strategy planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning skill
• Internal control (USSOX or JSOX experience is a plus) experience
• ERP software hands-on experience (Microsoft D365 is preferred)
• Work experience in international companies is a plus
• Leadership, mentorship, and team management skills
• CPA or equivalent knowledge of Financial & Accounting preferred
• Able to communicate with Big-four audit firm and
• Analytical and strategic skills
• Language (excellent English skill is a must, Dutch is a plus)

WORKING HOURS : 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
