Overview

Account Executive (New Business) to join our Corporate Sales team at Banqup Group. We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to contribute to a leading fintech company that simplifies and automates business processes through innovative digital solutions. This role is ideal for a professional with a few years of experience or a driven graduate eager to build a career in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in German is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Open new markets: lead generation and outbound outreach via cold calls, targeted emails, LinkedIn, plus in-person connections at events and trade shows
  • Strategic pipeline build-up: identify key decision-makers, assess needs, and position our SaaS solutions precisely
  • Drive leads to close: build and nurture a well-structured pipeline, track progress, follow up diligently, and close deals as you gain experience
  • Deliver powerful demos: conduct engaging discovery calls and dynamic product demonstrations via video or phone
  • Close the deal: craft tailored proposals, follow them up, and take ownership until contracts are signed
  • Data-driven operations: use Salesforce to log every activity, conversation, and opportunity; report regularly and transparently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • A customer-centric mindset and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • A strong interest in sales and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Preferred qualifications
  • 1-3 years in sales, business development, inside sales or payments solutions preferably within IT, Software, SaaS, FinTech, or E-Invoicing
  • Technical affinity to advise clients on structured invoice formats (e.g., XRechnung, ZUGFeRD) and the Peppol network
  • Experience in using a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Proficiency in additional languages like French or Spanish are a plus
  • Team player, curious mindset, and desire for continuous growth
