Jobbeschreibung

An accountant prepares analyzes and reports financial information so that a company or client can stay compliant understand performance and make informed business decisions.

Core responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, manage accounts payable/receivable and handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations.

Analysis and advisory

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and risks then provide recommendations to improve profitability and control costs.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes helping management plan for revenue, expenses and cash flow.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors respond to audit queries and help strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and relevant regulations along with proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy and analytical skills to manage large volumes of financial data.
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; certifications such as CA, CPA or CMA are often preferred or required for advanced roles.
