Key Responsibilities

CAD Design & Engineering Documentation

• Create and develop 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for mechanical and structural components.
• Prepare construction documentation for assemblies, buildings, installations, sections, layouts, and packaging concepts.
• Independently create and revise CAD models and drawings based on existing documentation, inventory drawings, or technical specifications.
• Develop parts lists and supporting technical documentation.

Project Support

• Support internal and external engineering projects with technical drawings and construction models.
• Contribute to conceptual and detailed design phases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and accuracy.

Specialized Engineering Tasks

• Support planning activities for dismantling and installation of complex technical systems and facilities.
• Contribute to the development of packaging and transport concepts for components and materials.
• Prepare load-handling and lifting drawings as part of defined handling processes.
• Perform on-site measurements and assessments when required (willingness to travel).

Required Qualifications

Education & Training

• Completed technical vocational training (minimum 3 years) in a mechanical, technical, or engineering-related field.
• Additional technical training in design or construction is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in German is required.

Professional Experience

• Several years of professional experience in mechanical CAD design.
• Proven experience in:
• 3D CAD modeling
• 2D CAD drawing creation
• Development of technical construction documentation

Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience with 3D CAD and 2D CAD systems
• Solid knowledge of technical drawing standards
• Proficient use of MS Office

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

• Experience with Autodesk products (e.g. AutoCAD, Vault, Revit)
• Knowledge of Inventor CAD software
• Experience in handling complex construction documentation and assemblies
