Caseware is seeking a Staff Software Developer to join a high‑impact engineering team. This fully remote role is based in Colombia, offering ownership over key features and architecture across monoliths and microservices.

You will lead design reviews, drive actionable improvements, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, QA, and security partners to deliver scalable, secure software in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Formación

• Extensive server-side Java experience.
• 8+ years of core Java expertise.
• Experience with monolith and microservices architectures.
• Cloud-native systems on AWS and related services.
• Strong design and leadership capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a core platform contributor shaping architecture and standards.
• Own features end-to-end from design through build using modern tech.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews, RFCs, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and security to ensure observability and reliability.
• Drive CI/CD improvements and production safeguards with DevOps.
