Caseware International is seeking a Staff Software Developer to shape architecture, drive technical leadership, and mentor engineers. This fully remote role is based in Colombia, with global impact on our audit and accounting software platform.

You will own features end-to-end, influence architecture, and collaborate across teams to improve reliability and performance. You will work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and NoSQL technologies, while advocating AI-assisted development practices and

Formación

• In-depth, extensive experience with server-side Java, viewed as a subject matter expert.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with core Java.
• Experience with monoliths and microservices.
• Solid experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
• Experience delivering cloud-native systems on AWS.
• Strong communication and cross-team influence.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a core contributor on the platform with global impact.
• Own key features and architectural improvements end-to-end.
• Collaborate with a team of deep technical experience and domain knowledge.
• Lead POCs informing roadmap and architecture decisions.
• Partner with DevOps and Security to evolve CI/CD pipelines and production safeguards.
• Mentor engineers and participate in production support as a senior escalation point.
