Caseware is seeking a Staff Software Developer to join a globally distributed, AI-enabled engineering team. You will drive core Java architecture, mentor engineers, and own features end-to-end from design through deployment. This remote role is based in Colombia with collaboration across product, security, and DevOps teams.

You’ll work on scalable, cloud-native systems, champion best practices, and contribute to an open, high‑performing culture with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.

Formación

• Extensive server-side Java expertise with senior leadership impact.
• 8+ years of core Java experience across monoliths and microservices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and cloud platforms.
• Proven track record delivering cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication and ability to influence architecture decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Own features and architectural improvements end-to-end from design to production.
• Collaborate with a deep-tech team to drive reliability and performance.
• Define and evolve technical standards and scalable capabilities.
• Lead POCs and mentor engineers through reviews and guidance.
• Partner with QA, Security, and DevOps to ensure observability and CI/CD excellence.
• Champion AI-assisted development standards and guardrails.
