Caseware is seeking a Senior Software Developer III to lead technical direction for a remote Colombia-based team. You will shape architecture, drive quality, and mentor engineers while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver value. Expertise in Java/SpringBoot and cloud-native SaaS platforms is essential.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, strong API design, and a focus on reliability, observability, and scalable architecture across microservices in AWS.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native, SaaS platforms at scale (AWS preferred).
• Strong fundamentals in OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience mentoring across teams and guiding architectural decisions.
• Proven ability to design and consume REST/GraphQL APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Create architecture and design proposals delivering near-term business value.
• Lead architecture reviews and design discussions.
• Define and execute product/platform architecture roadmap.
• Balance delivery speed with quality and long-term health.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve SDLC.
• Mentor developers and raise engineering maturity.
• Document and share technical knowledge across teams.
