Caseware is seeking a Staff Software Developer to drive architecture and standards in a fully remote role based in Colombia. You will mentor engineers, lead architectural reviews, and partner with QA, product, and security teams to ensure observability, reliability, and scalable solutions globally.

The position emphasizes AI-assisted development practices, cross-team collaboration, and improved deployment strategies in a modern AWS-based stack.

Formación

• Extensive server-side Java expertise and SME status.
• Experience delivering cloud-native systems on AWS with focus on scalability, reliability and cost.
• Proven ability to design and evolve shared platforms used by multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a core contributor on the platform with global impact.
• Own features and architectural improvements end-to-end.
• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers across domains.
• Lead complex, business-critical challenges like real-time multi-user synchronization.
• Define and evolve architecture with scalable, reusable capabilities across teams.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
