Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an Air Pricing Agent to support our Air Product team in Santiago. You will develop competitive airfreight quotations, manage tenders, and negotiate rates with airlines and service providers to ensure profitability and service excellence for international shipments.

You will collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to transform commercial requirements into viable transportation solutions aligned with Expeditors' standards.

Qualifications

• Technical or professional degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Engineering, Business Administration Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant and demonstrable experience in freight forwarding, airfreight, or pricing may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate airfreight quotations.
• Prepare international tenders involving long-term agreements.
• Negotiate rates with airlines and logistics service providers.
• Analyze shipment requirements including origin, destination, weight, routing, service, transit time, capacity, and constraints.
• Request and validate rates with airlines, local service providers, and offices across the network.
• Maintain relationships with airlines, carriers, and other service providers.
• Deliver quotations within established deadlines and communicate risks or delays.
