Job summary

Expeditors in Santiago, Chile, seeks an Air Pricing Agent to develop quotations and manage tenders for international air shipments. The role collaborates with airlines, service providers, and internal teams to deliver competitive and profitable results.

The position supports the local Air Product strategy, transforming commercial requirements into viable transport solutions aligned with Expeditors' service standards. Strong pricing acumen and stakeholder negotiation are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical or professional degree in related field.
• Experience in freight forwarding, airfreight, or pricing preferred.
• Strong English and Excel skills.
• 2+ years in pricing or airfreight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable airfreight quotations.
• Prepare international tenders involving long-term agreements.
• Conduct negotiations with stakeholders.
• Analyze shipment requirements including origin, destination, weight, routing, and transit times.
• Request and validate rates with airlines and service providers.
• Maintain rate information and quotation records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations on pricing strategy.
• Deliver quotations within deadlines and communicate risks or delays.
• Analyze pricing trends and prepare periodic competitiveness reports.
