Job summary
Expeditors is seeking an Air Pricing Agent to join the Air Product team in Santiago, Chile. You will develop quotations, manage tenders, and negotiate rates with airlines and service providers to deliver competitive, profitable airfreight solutions.
You'll work with cross-functional teams across Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to align with service standards. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in pricing, and knowledge of airfreight concepts, with English proficiency
Qualifications
- Technical or professional degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Engineering, Business Administration Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable airfreight quotations.
- Prepare international tenders involving long-term agreements in a competitive, profitable, and sustainable manner.
- Conduct negotiations with stakeholders.
- Analyze shipment requirements (origin, destination, weight, routing, service, transit time, capacity).
- Request and validate rates with airlines and offices across the global network.
- Maintain rate information and quotation records, and follow up on proposals.
