Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a quality engineer for gas-insulated switchgear equipment in Zurich to lead root cause analysis and resolve customer complaints in electrical power systems.

You will drive quality cases impacting multiple customers, own internal and external complaints, and manage projects for larger quality issues, delivering sustainable improvements. On-site investigations and method statements, reporting to stakeholders, and clear cross-team communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in electrical power systems with O&M of T&D systems.
• Background in quality function or project management in GIS.
• Profound understanding of electrical systems and electrical equipment.
• English fluent; German and other languages are a plus.
• Experience in quality or project management is a plus.
• Good communication and cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis in GIS quality cases.
• Drive quality cases affecting multiple customers.
• Own internal and external customer complaints and ensure fast, sustainable solutions.
• Manage projects for bigger quality cases and drive improvements.
• Prepare and present reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Run sustainable improvement projects to prevent recurring quality issues.
• Support or lead on-site investigations and prepare method statements.
