Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Zürich is seeking an Electrical Power System Quality Engineer (80-100%). You will lead root cause analyses, drive quality cases across multiple customers, and own customer complaints with fast, sustainable solutions.

The role includes project management of major quality cases, reporting to stakeholders, and coordinating on-site investigations. Fluent English is required; German and other languages are a plus.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in electrical power systems, with experience in O&M of T&D systems.
• Background in quality function or project management in gas-insulated switchgear field.
• Profound understanding of electrical systems and electrical equipment.
• Experience in commissioning T&D systems is a plus.
• Fluent English; German and other languages are beneficial.
• Experience in quality management and/or project management will be considered a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead root cause analysis in GIS quality cases.
• Drive the quality cases affecting multiple customers.
• Owner of internal and external customer complaints and ensure a fast and sustainable solution
• Project management of bigger quality cases, identify improvements and drive their implementation.
• Prepare and present reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Run sustainable improvement projects to prevent quality issues to repeat.
• Provide support for and/or lead on-site investigations
• Prepare method statements for troubleshooting cases
