Try&Hire is seeking a quality engineer for gas-insulated switchgear equipment in Zurich to lead root cause analysis and resolve customer complaints in electrical power systems.

You will drive quality cases impacting multiple customers, own internal and external complaints, and manage projects for larger quality issues, delivering sustainable improvements. On-site investigations and method statements, reporting to stakeholders, and clear cross-team communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in electrical power systems with O&M of T&D systems.
• Background in quality function or project management in GIS.
• Profound understanding of electrical systems and electrical equipment.
• English fluent; German and other languages are a plus.
• Experience in quality or project management is a plus.
• Good communication and cultural sensitivity.

Your tasks

What you bring

• 5 years of experience in electrical power systems with O&M of T&D systems
• Background in quality function or project management in gas-insulated switchgear
• Profound understanding of electrical systems and electrical equipment
• Experience in commissioning T&D systems is a plus
• Fluent English required; German and other languages are a plus
• Experience in quality or project management is a plus
• Good communication and cultural sensitivity

Conditions

• Workload: 80-100 %
• Option of a permanent position after the assignment if both sides want it
