Job summary

Elan Computing (Schweiz) AG seeks an experienced EUC/deskside support professional for a 12-month project in Vevey, Switzerland. The role focuses on incident resolution, Windows 10+ support, imaging, IMACD, asset inventory, and strong ITSM discipline.

The candidate will interact with end users, Service Desk, and vendors, requiring fluency in German and French and at least intermediate Portuguese/Spanish. On-site work with strict adherence to security and health-safety protocols is expected.

Qualifications

• At least three years of EUC field services/deskside support in a corporate environment.
• Proficient diagnosing desktop, notebook, peripherals, printers, OS and business-application incidents.
• Experience with Windows 10+, Microsoft 365, hardware deployment, imaging, IMACD, asset inventory and ticket documentation.
• Working knowledge of IT service-management practices, incident escalation, SLA compliance, information-security requirements and customer site procedures.
• Ability to work independently at customer locations and communicate with end users, Service Desk, DXC personnel and vendors.
• Fluency in German and French; intermediate proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
• Completion of pre-employment screening, security checks, onboarding, site-access requirements and health and safety training.
• Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft endpoint-support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents on escalation from helpdesk.
• Support Windows 10 or newer OS and standard applications.
• Coordinate with IT personnel and vendors to resolve incidents.
• Work with end-users to identify problems and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with internal IT support and outside vendors to fix issues.
• Adhere to the Helpdesk and End-User Support SLA.
• Participate in planning and deployment of new hardware/software and vendor evaluation.
• Conduct routine audits of workstations for policy compliance.
• Perform IMACD activities for deskside equipment.
• Deploy desktops with standard image to users.
