EPAM Systems, Inc. in Lausanne, Switzerland is seeking a hands-on Support Engineer to act as the physical face of IT, delivering on-site hardware and user support across offices.

You will diagnose and repair laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, and mobile devices; handle device provisioning via Intune/Autopilot; coordinate warranty dispatch; support meeting room tech and telephony. The role requires strong customer-facing communication, fluency in English and French as a plus, ITIL/md

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of deskside or field IT support experience.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting skills for laptops, docking stations, printers, mobile devices and AV/VC setups.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Intune/Autopilot enrollment and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to work with physical infrastructure including unpacking, racking, cable management and equipment logistics.
• Professional fluency in English and intermediate knowledge in French.
• Nice to have ITIL 4 Foundation certification and MD-102.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues including laptops, docking stations, monitors, peripherals, printers and mobile devices.
• Perform physical device swaps and coordinate warranty dispatch with the vendor.
• Execute local network troubleshooting such as Wi-Fi issues and AV/VC equipment checks.
• Deliver executive-level on-site support for local offices, including VIP meetings.
• Manage staging of new devices via Intune/Autopilot and prepare for user handoff.
• Coordinate device decommissioning and secure data wiping.
• Maintain local device stock and coordinate replenishment with Workplace team.
• Assist users with daily application problems and general troubleshooting.
