A power solutions company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead their Equipment Sales Team in Calgary. Responsibilities include executing sales plans, mentoring team members, and fostering relationships with customers and suppliers. The role requires at least three years of management experience in sales, preferred experience in electric power or related industries, and a strong customer service ethic. Flexibility in hours and travel within the region is necessary to ensure proper coverage and response to customer needs.
Acting as lead motivator, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the daily performance, accountability, and supervision of the Regional Equipment Sales Team. In addition to the management of sales personnel and resources to help secure business, this role may require direct involvement with accounts, particularly ‘key’ accounts, to sell power generation solutions. The ability to combine sales and customer service expertise with professional management skills will be a key to success in this role. Execution is also a key skill required to meet the needs of the customers and to provide the best customer ‘sales experience’ in the industry.
