Our client is a Canadian global organization looking to hire a Director, IT Applications / Product development for a full-time hybrid position in Central GTA.
About the Opportunity
This is a Director role which will help the organization bring in solutions to foster internal and external innovation. 30% of the solutions/products/applications will be externally-facing (revenue generating) and 70% internal (tools and applications for automation, efficiency, etc).
We are looking for someone who is very well versed in full-cycle application product delivery (mostly buy, not build) - from idea to implementation and support/maintenance.
This person will also be running multiple large implementation projects concurrently, while managing a team of 30+, with approximately $15mil annual budget.
Strong product and project management experience is needed in this role.
About You
Proven experience delivering large-scale IT application products/projects.
Leadership of teams of 30+ (BAs/PMs/BI/Devs/UX/etc).
Innovation and Product/Project development/implementation experience.
Experience with stakeholder/C-level business case presentation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bonus Items:
Publishing or document management industry experience.
PMP.
Past IT Innovation positions.
Technical Architecture experience.
Salary Range
$150,000 - 200,000/year plus car allowance and STIP bonus.
