Riva is seeking a driven and proactive Technical Recruiter to join our growing HR team. In this role, you will play a key part in attracting and hiring technical talent that drives innovation and excellence. You’ll work remotely, collaborating across time zones, and help shape the future of our team by bringing in individuals who align with our values and vision.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting to the Human Recourses Manager, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for technical roles. You will work closely with hiring managers to ensure we are identifying, attracting, and hiring the best candidates efficiently and inclusively. You’ll take ownership of the entire recruitment process, from crafting job descriptions to onboarding, ensuring a high-quality experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

More specifically your responsibilities include:

Lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, with a strong emphasis on technology-based positions

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies

Create and post compelling job ads that attract the right talent

Source, screen, and assess candidates using a variety of channels and tools

Conduct structured interviews and participate in selection discussions with hiring teams

Manage candidate communication and ensure a thoughtful and inclusive candidate experience

Create and maintain job descriptions and interview guides

Track and report on recruitment metrics and outcomes to drive continuous improvement

Assist with onboarding coordination and documentation

Champion equitable hiring practices and a strong employer brand

Continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate pipelines

You may also be required to recruit for other non-technical roles and assist the HR team with other HR-related activities from time to time

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Most importantly, you care deeply about building inclusive teams and a welcoming candidate experience.

More specifically, you bring:

Three (3)+ years of recruitment experience, in technology heavy companies or B2B SaaS environments

Experience recruiting for a range of technical roles (e.g., developers, QA, DevOps, etc.)

Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes independently

Strong understanding of technical roles, industry trends, and sourcing strategies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfort working across time zones and collaborating remotely

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity

Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards

Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle high volumes of candidate communications in a timely fashion

Familiarity with employment legislation and hiring best practices in Canada and internationally

Bonus Points For:

Experience coordinating onboarding or working with HR systems like BambooHR

Past experience building recruitment campaigns or managing employer brand initiatives
