Job Opportunity: Talent Hunter

Our Leamington-based client, the fastest-growing bio-control company in North America, is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Talent Hunter to join their dynamic team. This individual will perform outbound hunting for executive and technical talent throughout North America. Successful candidates will demonstrate emotional intelligence, outstanding communication skills, exceptional resourcefulness, and passion. The company currently has just over 50 employees and aims to grow to more than 250 in the next 5 years across Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities:
  1. Influence and persuade technical and executive personnel who may claim they are satisfied with their current roles — active outbound sourcing.
  2. Identify and prioritize key roles that generate wealth for the company.
  3. Create and maintain redundancies for all roles, especially critical ones.
  4. Review and analyze employee productivity data.
  5. Coordinate performance reviews.
  6. Conduct workload analysis as needed.
  7. Match employees' work with their talents.
  8. Organize training to enhance productivity and support career development.
  9. Identify training needs for team members' professional growth.
  10. Review and coach team members on personal performance goals monthly.
  11. Collaborate with headhunters and recruitment agencies.
  12. Build and nurture a social network of top talent.
  13. Maintain employer branding through social media and the company website.
  14. Recruit new employees, co-op students, and volunteers.
  15. Network with agricultural and related institutes for sourcing talent.
  16. Participate in job fairs.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness and ability to engage in relationship-building activities outside of normal business hours.
Salary:
  • Approximately $70,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
