• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Oversee daily operations of the fabrication shop to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Ensure high visibility of work activities and results to stakeholders.
• Set and achieve targets to drive shop performance and success.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and development opportunities.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Train and mentor team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Lead team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
• Coordinate with other departments to align production goals with company objectives.
• Maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed to meet production demands.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline for potential projects and clients.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Welding experience
• Red Seal preferred
• Pressure welding experience required
• Supervisory experience required
• Piping and structural steel background.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in fabrication.
• Proven experience in supervising fabrication shop operations for at least 3 years.
• Excellent communication skills for leading team meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to set and achieve performance targets to enhance shop success.
• Skills in training and mentoring team members for skill development.
• Proven ability to implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Proficiency in analyzing production data to identify trends and improvements.
• Experience in coordinating with different departments to align production goals.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a pipeline for projects and clients.
• Experience in maintaining inventory levels and ordering materials as needed.
