MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking an Automation Professional to join our team in Saskatoon. We will also consider candidates for our Regina office.

As an automation professional, you will share MPE’s vision of providing industry-leading services across Saskatchewan and Western Canada. The role primarily involves PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, with a diverse background in automation, control system planning, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Your Contribution

Your main responsibilities

• Programming with various automation software and hardware.
• Willingness to travel for maintenance and commissioning support.
• Availability for PLC, SCADA systems, and related communications emergency support.

Your Profile

What makes you unique

• Licensed or eligible for licensing/certification with APEGS / TPSK.
• Diploma or degree in electrical or automation-related fields from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
• Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
• Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
