Job Description
IS Business Analyst has extensive experience leading planning, development and testing for enterprise systems. They own major releases from beginning to end of development including creating tests and leading UAT with business users. Does not require manager guidance to successfully accomplish their responsibilities. Owns at least one domain within the Epicor Kinetic system. Analyst focuses on analyzing and testing current processes and systems to determine their effectiveness and efficiency. Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, oversee process changes, and ensure that any revisions result in measurable improvements for the organization. Analyst will provide administration, support, and continuous improvement of Biomeric's Epicor Kinetic ERP and related software solutions. The role includes ensuring optimal performance, resolving issues, and maintaining availability of key applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to application configuration, license management, incident management, change management, training, and documentation. Domestic and international travel may be required (must maintain valid passport).
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Process Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of current business processes to identify areas of improvement, inefficiencies, or gaps that can be addressed through Epicor Kinetic solutions.
- Data Analysis and Problem Solving: Collect and analyze data to perform root cause analysis of issues or inefficiencies. Propose solutions that align with both current and future business needs.
- Epicor Kinetic System Testing and Optimization: Analyze and test Epicor Kinetic systems and processes to determine effectiveness and efficiency. Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Epicor Kinetic modules.
- Change Management and Implementation: Oversee the implementation of process changes, manage testing, and ensure changes result in measurable organizational improvements.
- Training and Communication: Assist in developing and delivering training programs or presentations to communicate process revisions and Epicor Kinetic system changes to the organization.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior analysts or project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Documentation: Creation of necessary SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), WID (Work Instruction Document), and other necessary documentation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business units and IS teams to translate business needs into actionable ERP enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. (2-4 years Information Systems related experience, in addition to what is required below, is required if no degree)
- Experience: 5 years minimum relevant experience in Epicor Kinetic system implementation, analysis, or management, with a proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives.
- Certifications: Epicor Kinetic related certifications are highly desirable.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing or regulated industry is preferred.
- Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with Epicor Kinetic vendors and consultants.
- Work Autonomy: Performs tasks with a high degree of latitude, handling the most complex issues within the organization.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Possesses expert knowledge of Epicor Kinetic systems, business processes, and the ability to propose effective, scalable solutions.
- Leadership Role: Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate teams. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
Skills:- Strong understanding of cloud-based SaaS architecture, system administration, and security.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team to drive business process improvements.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Thinking: Advanced problem and situational analysis skills, with the capability to identify root causes and provide innovative solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Epicor Kinetic architecture, system integration, and optimization.
- Planning and Organization: Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery of projects.
